In the coming days, weeks and months, it is likely that many Western Health staff will be asked to care for patients with medical issues that are not within their usual scope of practice. In particular, you may be required to look after significantly sicker patients than you are used to, whether they are patients with or without Covid-19.

 

This has the potential to cause significant anxiety, fear and stress.

Please remember you will not be alone. The ICU team is always here to assist you in managing any patient you are concerned about, at any time.
